It would be nice if you can hear the pitch when you move a note up / down, in the key view (piano roll) mode.
    Without the sequence running.

Making music by ear is what I often do, and this option would be very entertaining. Most DAWs that I have used in the past have this option by default. Maschine team please put this at number one on your TO-DO list.

    Thanks for your attention.

It would be immensely useful if when moving a note up or down in the piano roll one could hear the midi playback, like it’s the case with most DAWs.

    Another +1

I play in complicated jazz extensions, and like to work fast, by ear, this feature is so imperative for quick corrections....I’m even looking around for a 3rd party midi plugin that could be used? I love the Maschine environment, but this feature missing drives me nuts.

There are lots of options out there, however, using plugins that are MIDI FX or send MIDI inside Maschine requires a lot of workarounds as it's not technically supported.

Just curious, do you guys want this because you do things on the piano roll on the software or do you want this for controller/hardware like on the Events Menu for example? (mk3/studio)

    Exactly.

Wouldn’t do it on my Mk3, so yes, just in the machine 2 / 3 (hoping). software really...maybe an option to have it on or off, like Live. Some users may not need it.

Software. I don't see any use for it in the hardware as all the notes are there.

    Thats what I though...
Well, I always had this sense that if a feature is only designed for mouse/keyboard than it doesn't happen, now with a standalone coming I fear it will be worst. I hope I am wrong.

Aren't all the notes there in the software too (i.e., clicking the keyboard)?

Then again let's say you do move some notes in the software. It would be a nice touch to have that note light up on the hardware too
