MIDI notes sticking when vocoding live input?

    Using the classic vocoder preset as a base, I created a vocoder patch I liked, removed all the notes on the keyboard area and set it to 'manual'. But now and then some notes stick for longer than they ought to, causing pretty nasty chord clashing.

    Any tips? Or is this a bug? Or have I done something silly?
