Midi out modifier/condition help

Hi everyone,

I have a Xone K2 with a custom map where the outer left and right, bottom 4 buttons act as VU meters for decks 1 & 2 - more as a visual reminder of active decks than for accurate gain levels. These work fine, bouncing along and looking great! However, I would like all those 4 buttons to light up red and override the VUs with the track end warning. I've tried and tried to find or work out a suitable modifier or condition to do this...but have failed to date! I was hoping someone(s) on here more knowledgeable than me might know of a way to do this???

Since Traktor doesn't expose the Track Ending Warning as a modifier directly, the only way I can see to use it to override a mapping would be to use a MIDI Loopback software and use "Track Ending Warning" to control a Modifier, that in turn, controls the output of "Track Ending Warning" and "VU Meter" to the controller.

Easier would be to just use 3 buttons on the controller as VU Metering and reserve one for "Track Ending Warning".
