MIDI output notes from chords/arp in Pro Tools?

    I just realised I am having the exact same issue. I have to delete the first 'layer' of notes to hear playback.

    Also, at the moment I am cut and pasting the data back to the MIDI track. Is it possible to map the MIDI output of the KK track so it doesn't need to read the MIDI track?

    i need to spend more time with this - but on my system the chords are not being sustained and it is these 'doubled notes' that causing this.

    more when i have a bit of time.

    i have uploaded another way of recording the chords into Pro Tools as notes.

    with this method:

    • the first instance of Komplete Kontrol is just being used for chords and arpeggiators.
    • the MIDI is being sent to a MIDI Track which records the notes
    • the MIDI from the MIDI Track is send to a second instance of Komplete Kontrol which has the sound.
    with this method, the second instance of KOmplete Kontrol just has the sound and receives MIDI from the MIDI Track.

    BUT

    this also suffers from the double note error. clearly this is a bug with the AAX version of KOmplete Kontrol 1.1, because it does not happen with the VST version in Ableton. i will report this to NI.

    Yo! I have the exact same problem in Studio One 3 64bit! I'm getting crazy after weeks of trial and error! I contactet the Native Instruments support a week ago but no reply! Has nobody come up with a solution yet? Please Help!! Greetings from Vienna

    getting midi out of it was the only thing I bought it for, im really frustratet...

    these extra notes have to be a bug

    the Pro Tools issue has been reported to NI - i have now told NI that it is happening in Studio One 3

    are you using a Mac or PC?
