Good morning all, so I am still fairly new at the Maschine & audio production world and was looking for input on the best ways of learning and understanding midi routing and all of the other routing that can go on in maschine etc

Do you suggest the manual is the best way to go about this or can you recommend some good videos on the subject??

    Thanks everyone

Do you have a description of what you want to achieve? Do you want to synchronize playback of a hardware sequencer with Maschine, or control a hardware synth with the Maschine sequencer, for example?

Well just a good all around understanding of it all (Which I know is alot) but also for setting up external equipment to Maschine working both ways. I did find a good video that helped me set up the pads via battery and Atlas. That has given me some understanding of it and I guess once you achieve success at those connections then just save the templates?

I guess my question is quite vague lol sorry

the midi implementation aspect, is only as good as the softwares intergration of midi...

Maschines software that integrates with other controllers via midi does have its limitations(understandably)

however maschines Hardware & the ability to change the midi values/cc/pc etc using the control editor... is very powerful...
when the maschine hardware(midi mode) coupled with a Daw that integrates midi mapping, you indeed have a powerful midi controller...

For a basic understanding of midi... a useful video
