Midi Template for Sylenth1

Hi all,

I was trying to set up the midi template for Sylenth1 and Komplete Kontrol but it seems that sylenth1 doesn't accept the notion of pages. First i tried to map all CC parameters to one sylenth1 template and i got approx 11 pages. but when i try it Sylenth1 doesn't seem to recognise what i did.

for example the OscilatorA1 volume parameter has CC 10 as midi parameter. but when i turn the knob it turns the Pan parameter in OscilatorA1 which is CC 14.

Did anybody of you experience the same thing and most of all has a solution for this?

Do you mean you tried mapping osc A1 vol to cc10 or do you the manual of Sylenths says it's number 10? Because not all cc's are always free to map and different manufacturers of controllers seem to use different schemes. My novation knob on my novation controller is cc21, on the kontrol25 it's cc14. If you want to use the template in ableton you can just use crtl+M on windows to start the mapping turn the knob you want to map and then turn the knob on youre controller, the assigned cc will be visble If you use this method i don't think it's posiible to do "wrong" mapping. Also when in midi map mode, open the browser ctrl + alt + B to get an overview of the currently assigned cc's. Hope this helps.

Well i tried the following.
in ableton assign the mapping manually this works for the first 8 knobs mapping. but with the s49 you can use a kind of 'pages' to assign the 8 knobs to different controls using the pages. And Sylenth1 doesn't recognise this apparently so if you switch a page on the S49 the sylenth1 keeps using the first mappings. So i can't get passed the 8 maps apparently.

 

Allright. My Novation controller automaps to the blue hand, and controls the "Best of Bank". And on this controller i can't get to the second page, so 8 controls is the max. When i use maschine as controller in the ableton template i can press bank in the template and then it switches to the second page. Under the info row you see the currently selected bank. In the controller editor the Bank knob of maschine is controller change 104 on channel 4 . mode is gate. but at this moment i i really have no clue how i can use this information to set this function up for my kontrol or my novation. Lol.

please update your version of Komplete Kontrol to 1.1 and download the latest version of the Controller Editor Application.

i am up to date Sowari. I am not sure switching banks is supported by this controller because i can't find any information in the manual about it.
