[MIDI] User .Tsi Map for traktor (scratch) pro (Midi only)

I'm currently working on a Traktor Pro X Novation Nocturn tsi file I'm going to upload here in the near future.

However, there are a couple things I don't know how to set up.

I'd like to use the central rotary for browsing up and down my track list. pushing this rotary's button would let me preview the track on my headphones. is that possible?

also, as I use an external mixer, I'd like to assign the crossfader a special feature: left = sync A deck, right = sync B deck. possible?

Other than this I made 1 page of EFX control.

 

1) No, the central rotary does not send midi data
2) Should be possible (with Traktor Scratch I had the crossfader changing focus between deck A-B similar concept)

IMHO, the Nocturn could be a great controller for live DJs, but they need to enable ALL the buttons to send midi messages.

2) I have Traktor Scratch Pro indeed. Till now I could only assign one thing to the crossfader

It's really a pity the lower 8 buttons can't be used for midi, or can they? (let's hack the bitch!)

 

So i got the upgrade thinking it would be easy, but so far, My Numark total control only shows "USB Audio Device" with an X on both in and out, I have no control, I noticed that .tks files do not work, but looking for mapping for .tsi for this controller isnt found. If i bring up Traktor 3 It works fine, is there something im missing, do i have to map the total control to work with Pro? or is there .tsi like the .tks that is already done?

 

Hi, a tsi file like the old tks is not included in TPro.
I have made a tsi for TC. ( the Downloadlink is in the 4. Page of tis Thread ). Take a Look and Try it.

I am also getting this problem. Checked file is TSI file, which it is. What am I still doing wrong? What is annoying is that the hand book says Pro comes with midi mappings but after several hours of looking I will be flipped if I can find them!

Ive just got myself a dx2 and was hoping if you could tell me where i can get a good tsi file to set it up?

the set up ime using is a new macbook / dx2 / traktor pro / audio kontrol 1 / external mixer....

Also i am getting a red flashing warning message when i try and load up any tsi files that i have found? it says...

"accessor information has unknown version. there for it has been ignored"?

hope you can help...

I just read on the NI site that the .tsi for the Zero 8 is in my midi mappings folder under "korg".

There is NO korg folder.

WTF MATE?
