    Hi All,

There isn't much documentation for Symphobia so I'm going to ask a dumb question. I'm using Digital Performer 7.22 and Kontakt 4 with Symphobia 1.2. One of the patches ("02 Symphobia cresc text," to be precise) is not nearly loud enough (actually, a bunch of similar orchestral tutti effects are similarly too soft). I'm not sure why the volume for such a big orchestral sound is set so low, but it is, in comparison to other Symphobia sounds. I notice on the Kontakt interface that the Master Volume slider for the patch is set to -6 dB. OK, so I raise the fader up to 0 dB and play it on my controller. It now sounds fine, obviously much louder. Thinking I've fixed the problem I play the file and watch/listen as the slider immediately moves back to -6 dB and I can't hear the patch again.

Dumb questions: The MIDI vol. is set 127 for the track, automation is on as well, There's no other CC info in the track, so... what is controlling its volume, making it revert to -6 dB? Can't I manually set the volume of the patch in the Symphobia interface or if not, how can I simply (re)set the volume of the patch to what I want if it doesn't seem to respond to MIDI CC or it's own slider?

I wish there was a Symphobia board...

    Best,

    Joel
