I've just purchased Bandstand as a GM plug-in for Digital Performer (Macintosh user).

Mostly everything works okay, but no 'actual' list of names next to patch changes or in the Patch column in the Tracks Window.

For example, instead of "Violin", I get "Patch 41". Of course, in the Bandstand window you can see the name okay, but it's a nuisance to have to keep opening the plug-in window to make a quick patch change.

Many other devices have proper names, which I think is from a "midnam" file located in DAW library. Does NI Bandstand have something similar?

    Hoping.

Okay ... so, does "do not currently" imply that you "will later"?

My guess is that the production of a midnam file would be relatively simple – so, I'd like to hope that this is something NI could do for its clients.
