Mikro 3 Live pad slicing

Hi guys,
Sorry if this has been asked elsewhere, but I can see how to live splice in manual on other Maschine's but can't work out how to do this on the Mikro 3. Live slicing in manual is when you play a sample and the pad blinks then you hit the next pad to slice etc. Is this one of the limitations of the the Mikro?

I do not think that is possible via the Mikro mk3, but is only possible in the software.

Yes but even if I set the software to slice and manual I don't get the flashing pads to manually splice on the pads

 

Yes , pad slicing is missing from the mikro , at the moment

 

Have you heard that it is going to be added at some point?

Mikro 3 is a cool piece of kit for the price though

 

No , but as it’s a pretty basic feature, I expect it to be added , along with some of the other things missing

there are other threads about this on this forum (search for it). one of the NI_mods told that they tried to make it work but decided to not include it....
so i wouldn't hold my breath that it gets included anytime "soon" (probably not even NI soon)...

 

Still waiting/hoping that the Mikro gets and update where we can use live slice! Fingers crossed.

 

At least they can have a way to preview the slices the the pads
