    Hi !

I desperately try to figure out how to use the EVENTS mode...
    In the documentation it's said:
"(6) EVENTS button: Enters Events mode. This mode allows you to select particular events in your Pattern and modify their position, pitch (key), velocity and length. You can also press EVENTS + pad to quickly select all events triggered by that pad in your Pattern."
The only thing I can do is the second part "You can also press EVENTS + pad to quickly select all events triggered by that pad in your Pattern."

No other stuff on the topic in the doc... (

Anyone using this mode to edit events please ?
    Thx

Check Page 425 (11.4) of the Manual on Editing events. It lists actions you can perform in the software (with the mouse) along with the corresponding actions performed on the controller (If there is one...).

Edit: The Mikro is very limited as to what event modifications can be performed on the controller.

    Peace,

Thx Blindeddie, did that already unfortunately and couldn't find any specific EVENTS button functionality... Kind of a ghost button apparently ...(
    Thx !
(it's like the mark as favorite function by shift clicking the project button that is shown by Boris in an official NI video that has been removed...seems it has to stay a mikro...)
    Regards )

There are a few things you can do with existing events, Press Events the pads that contain events light up, then by tapping the pad you can select all events in lanes, transpose notes in KB mode by Octave or Semitone, Nudge ,Quantize, Copy, Paste and Clear events. The biggest limitation is that selecting individual events needs to be done with the mouse. All the available Shift +Pad functions that have to do with events are available.

    Hope that helps.

Smells like a very soon update to classic MK3 ,)

Btw u can select individual events in step mode... but it's not easy to navigate.
And of course it could be fixed but won't.

    Too bad (

    Thx Blindeddie

Yeah, I was going to mention that, but it is kind of messy...

The Mikro is what it is...thats why its $400 cheaper than the Full MK3.

    Peace,

Although I agree and understand that it has to be more limited than an Mk3/Studio/MK2 the Mikro-Mk3 seems a lot more limited than the Mikro MK2, this last thing... I cant understand, it's a downgrade from the previous HW version in many aspects which is silly in software that isn't very mouse/keyboard friendly and designed for HW control first. :S

Increasing the functional gap between Mikros and bigger models seems to be the general direction, new models being worst than the previous is kind of meh..

After I got my Mikro Mk3 and started realizing the amount of functionality that had been "Removed" based on Mikro Mk2 functionality I was seeing in Videos/tutorials, I was kind of disappointed... the back and forth between the HW/SW did not seem to be thought out very well as you would be able to do something on the controller up to a point, then have to switch to the Software for 1 click, then you could go back to using the controller to complete the original task...

    Peace,

    Same. :S
I was hoping they would change their mind about this approach by now as they did for the MM3's Controller Editor support for example.

Interesting... :) I was just wondering now how to select single events with my Mikro mk2 and I found this post. I thought that not being able to select single events belonged to the past in the Mikro Mk3. I tried everything hoping there was a hidden, non-documented way, like pressing SHIFT + > while in Step mode. We can only hope this will be added in the future or... Hack it! (read the USB packages from the mk3) and try to send the same ones from our Mikros LOL.
