I just got it in my hands yesterday, installed everything (maschine 1.7, elements) and plugged it in. Played for a couple of hours and went to sleep.

Now I put it back and it just doesn't light up :(

No matter where I tried, it just doesn't work! Is it something I am missing or it just died in my arms last night ?

I did emailed support but they usually take more than a week to respond and I would like to ask if someone here had the same problem.

My setup is not weird or something. Just an HP Elitebook with its onboard sound card.

Please help! I am in the dark here! WAAHHHHHH!

did you try shutting down your computer, taking the USB cable out. then switching on and reconnecting the USB before launching Maschine?

Yes, I tried everything!. I shut it down thinking that my USBs had slept, rebooted. Nothing. Tried it on another three computers (a netbook, another desktop and an ibook). Nothing :(

I tried switching USB cables too thinking that it might be a fault of the cable. but, it wasn't apparently.

The weird thing is that I did nothing different than I did yesterday. It just didn't turn on again. It isn't even pop up a notification when I plug it in. It is like plugging a cable without nothing on the other end.

Make sure you connected the usb cable correctly. It takes some pressure before it firmly locks in place.

I have the same issue, but it has not lit up for me at all. Installed Maschine, updated, rebooted, tried different ports, different chords..nothing.

I get the Christmas tree effect and then nothing. Any help?

I called tech support and they send me (within the same day) a return authorisation to send it back. Be careful to send ONLY the controller and ONLY with a return authorisation number or else it is not considered a return.

    Better by phone.

The guy on the line was super-sweet and made it very easy for me. They will send you a replacement as soon as they have it and before they actually receive yours. The only downside is that mikro maschines weren't available at the time and I now wait clicking my way through the software.....

I too have the same problem as cRis21 Christmas tree effect then nothing.
Updated the drivers, different USBs, different cables the works. Could it sum how be a windows issue I just had my computer install updates over the weekend then all this starts today.
Any help would be good as I'm a little far from Germany to just send it back for a replacement.
