    Hello,

I recently installed Native Instruments Access and the products included in Komplete Start but I cannot seem to find the associated DLL files that would allow me to make use of these products in Ableton. I have attempted to locate them using the preferences tab but to no avail. I have verified that the standalone products have been installed. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Kind regards,

    Connor

You don’t mention your OS, but will assume Windows… if so, check the install paths in NA setttings (click the little person icon top left) it will tell you where they should have been installed… off the top of my head it should be c:\Program Files\Native Instruments\VstPlugins 64bit

I now know where the plugins and DLL files have been installed and set my preferences in Ableton to the correct file path.

Interestingly, none of the files for the 64-bit versions of the programs had shown up. That being said, after using VST plug-in system-folders only one of the several plugins that I had installed became available in Ableton and that would be Supercharger.

    Thanks for your help.

Specifically which plugins are missing in Ableton? Maybe knowing what is missing may help track down the problem.

    Hello Jeremy,

Thanks for your input. Unfortunately, I am still having difficulty having Ableton recognize the DLL files for the pieces of software that do have them. I have correctly set the VST file paths for both the 32 and 64-bit plugins and the only one that is being recognized is Supercharger. I am primarily concerned because the software that is used to host the other pieces of software is not showing up, if I understand correctly (e.g. Kontakt Player, Reaktor etc.).

    Thank you again Jeremy,

    Connor

Can you see the DLL files for Kontakt and Reaktor at the install path?

also post a screenshot of the plugin folder and a screenshot of the Ableton VST Browser and plugin preferences page…
