Missing Manual for S4 MK2

Hi NI,

I got my new S4 today and asking myself -
is there any Manual for the new S4 MK2 available?

I only found the old S4 manual in the installation folder.

Traktor 2.6.4? This latest version adds support for the Mk2 and presumable has manuals. Not that much had changed, though!

 

I got 2.6.4 - but only MK1 manual is included....


about nothing has changed: it has now Traktor DJ (iPAD) support,
which opens a whole new world in mobile mixing - and a manual for using S4 MK2 with it, would be awesome.

 

Is there a new manual coming for the S4 Mk2 or not? The physical layout has changed in places and certain functions like browse work differently, plus the flux button etc.

So is a new manual in the works?

 

i also have the MK2 tracktor S4 and it only came with the serial card and keyboard shortcuts .. no CD or manual

 

Clemo - if you look in the Traktor directory you'll find various PDF manuals. Including one for the Kontrol S4 Mk1 ;-(

Could someone from NI confirm if a MK2 manual is coming - or not?

If you go to the S4 mk2 product page, it can be downloaded from the "downloads" sub-link. Or even easier...

I can confirm it is for the MK2 and it is very informative. The "Setup Guide" is there as well.

The same thing happened with the X1 mk2. I think the gents' creating the manuals have had a
bit on their plate recently.

NI might be wise to put this in the Traktor download that everyone grabs when they get their S4 and in the 'downloads' section of our online accounts, because at the moment the support area says 'product manuals may be found in installation folder'. Which is the old Mk1 manual currently.
