Missing samples after updating software

I have noticed that after updating to 2.11 and every update since, my samples that contain "foreign characters" (ie. Chinese, Russian) in their name can no longer be located and i can not load them in manually either [I've located the samples and hit okay & still won't load]. Before the update i never had any problems, now all of the projects i have that contain samples with foreign characters no longer work. I have checked this on another laptop I own and the issue happens the same. Can this please be addressed as I have over 100 beats that I want to sell but cannot track out anymore.

Hi Seansb02, I created a Sample named Русский.wav in 2.9.0 and opened it fine in 2.12.
Maybe you could share a file you have problem with ?
We will look deeper in the meantime.

 

Yeah that is weird, the file name i just tried two minutes ago is "菊地俊輔 女囚さそり 第41雑居房.wav" and still no luck, please see the attached screen shot. If i change the name to an English title i have no problems, please see picture 2. I dont mind using this work around for future works, but for previously produced songs it is impossible to get the sample back into the track 100% the same way as the first time.
