    Hi all,

Just before i start, i did scan the forum first before posting and could not find any solutions to my problem. I have installed and re-installed battery now and for some reason the studio drummer and synthetic drummer samples have disappeared i have looked high and low for them and cannot find them. i also don't know how to refresh or rebuild the library in battery since i am new to it.i installed everything in its recommended place so i don't know how the installation has misplaced the files.

any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Same here, installed Komplete8 Crossgrade plus all the updates etc. Samples from B3 Synthetic Drums 1 Kits, B3 Synthetic Drums 2 Kits, B3 Studio Drums Kits are missing. I've searched the HD using Batterys' Search File System and with Windows search, redownloaded and reinstalled Battery3 without success.

I don't know why they would disappear, unless you unintentionally erased them?

I install my B3 banks (and all samples) on another disc and even if I uninstall B-3, the samples will stay in place.
Look where you installed the banks previously.

K-8 crossgrade will install everything in Komplete lib; unless you change the location of individual elements manually.
    My tree: Disk:E\Program Files\Native Instruments\Battery 3\Battery 3 Library...

    Thanks Faster,

Okay I get it now, the folders: Studio Drums, Synthetic Drums 1 & 2, are not present anywhere on any drive as I don't have Komplete Sound 2, whatever that is.

-Battery 3 Update for Komplete Sound 2-

Installation Instructions for the Updated Kit Files:

    1. Copy the "B3 Studio Drums Kits" folder from this update into your "Studio Drums" folder.

    2. Copy the "B3 Synthetic Drums 1 Kits" folder from this update into your "Synthetic Drums 1" folder.

    3. Copy the "B3 Synthetic Drums 2 Kits" folder from this update into your "Synthetic Drums 2" folder.

    4. These updated kits can now be opened in Battery 3, assuming that you kept the same folder structure as the original Komplete Sound 2 CDs. If not, you will have to tell Battery 3 where to find the samples and resave the kits.

So I got the kits, with the NI download, but no samples to go with them. Alrighty then, glad to know :)

    Great, glad you solved it.:)
With every update of Battery, I need to delete the "dummy" folders (that get installed next to my lib) containing kits but NO samples and result in: Error samples missing, because B-3 is looking into the new folders and finds kits but without samples.
Ideally the new kits should be put in old folders and over write the old kits, maybe they have some new functions...?
I also continue numbering folders: 12 - My Kits, 13 - Synthetic Drums 1, etc, it keeps Kits/Samples organised.
    cheers

ummm..im running on a mac so my problem instantly becomes more complicated lol. i have no idea where they are I've used the finder search and the battery search to find the files. i can't have deleted them because i hadn't even used battery yet before i noticed there was a problem with it.
