missing sounds?

i just opened up a song i was working on a few days back and maschine said the sounds where missing from the song, but when it asked me to locate the sounds maschine does not remember what sounds or where the sounds where previously @ and locate them for you by searching threw your sound folders no! you have to manually go find each and every sample that is misssing from the song, folder by folder, sound by sound, that is way to ridiculous. i guess maschine is behind the times in some areas!

 

cant say ive encountered that, and ive got samples all OVER the place man!

have you recently re-organised any library?

done a re-scan?

just asking in case they have moved and maschine isnt the culprit thats all....

actually i did reinstall my library a few days ago. ill rescan the library tonight while im sleep, takes forever for maschine to scan

don;t forget that you may have to re-tag everything in the Maschine browser again as well

 

i rescan the library last night and nothing happened so what i did was just add the folder to the library. maschine/ preferences/ user path/ add.

 

is it possible that you have installed the "x-mas" sound libary?
i think it was available for 30 days in december last year....
i have the same problem, i deleted the libary.exe

 

what it was is that, there was two locations where the sounds keep creating a maschine folder on my main drive why i dont know when i designate the sounds to be installed on my external drive they need to come up with a better install system for the sound location..
