Missing tracks in playlist?

Hi,

Newbie here who created his first playlist in Traktor last week. It was a 3 hour long playlist. I opened that list today and about half the tracks are not in it anymore!!

Why would that have happened?
Did I miss something (saving?) or made a mistake?

Anyway of fixing or restoring it?

saving in the browser occurs only when exiting the tractor or when manually saving.
To avoid losing tracks and playlists in the future, go to settings -> hotkeys -> browser and set a keyboard shortcut that you will manually press once every few minutes when working in a browser. Also, do not rely on saving the database when you close the tractor, often this saving gives an error, so it is better to do it manually before you clicked the cross in the corner.

Unfortunately, the tractor has the weakest save mechanism of any DJ program, and the workaround is only manual saving.

From your reply, I guess that Traktor doesn't have an auto-save feature.

 

this is a very popular request from DJs over the past 7 years, maybe sometime this will happen
