Missing Wavestes since update. What's up with that?

    Ever since I installed the 5.12 update on my pc, library ensembles that previously ran with no problem are coming up with unreferenced sample notifications. Wasn't a problem before, but now it is. I installed the update due to the statement that new ensembles in the library would no longer load if I didn't. What is this about? How do samples that were apparently present in a previous ensemble suddenly show up as missing when opened in 5.12? Is this because there were samples that the builder removed but forgot to delete in the map?

    post note: I performed a system restore, ran some tests, and am no longer convinced that this is an update issue, although I'm still not sure just what happened......
