Mistery file not found?

Hello,

I reinstalled the Pro-53 on my new laptop and it says the mistery file is not found, does anyone know what this means, as it didn't happen when I first bought it. I have the CD version of the Pro-52, and I bought the online version of the 53, so it asks for the Pro-52 CD which I put in and it seems to work OK but there is no banks loaded. Thanks for the help.

The mystery file is on your Pro-52 CD;it's the way Pro-52 did copy protection.Because you got the downloadable update(I'm assuming),Pro-53's looking for it.Copy the mystery file from your Pro-52 CD to your Pro-53 bin folder,or install Pro-52 as well.I have both installed myself-they do sound different.

i was having same problem so i loaded the CD i got off N.I the box said pro 53 but i still did it anyway click setup in same folder option & i seen the mystery file load.

it works fine now, well except i was using live 6.0 & pro-53 cause it not to open & it wouldn't load 53 so what i did was go to the vst folder i had it in moved it to my documents opened live> close live click undo move & next time i opened it up bam there it was

 

i have the komplete 4 installed, and kore asks for the mystery file.
I don't have an older version (pro 52),
and i can't select a file.
kore just hangs...
how could i solve this?

 

It sounds to me as if you haven't run Pro-53 in standalone. You have to run it in standalone first before trying to use it as a plugin.

Run Pro-53 as a standalone. Reboot, start Kore and rescan your plugins. See if that fixes it.
