Mixer

I would welcome a nice mixer to be available in the next update. I'm sure you can take it from there. That is all.

There is a mixer screen with volume control for all 8 groups when you click on the Master tab on the left side.

 

This is true.......somewhat.

 

wanting a mixer is a long term feature request.

I'll have to check on this when i get home later on. Does it have meters and all that? I doubt it does.

 

No meters but who needs those when you're really making music

 

I get you point, but if you're trying to get a mix done to a professional standard for radio, tv etc, meters are essential...

i do need meters, even if i am really making music, if you know your stuff about clipping and headroom, you know you want your meter, and you want them to be good. even you really make music.
i also dream of a maschine-like hardware expansion with faders and at least 3 knobs over every fader, à la uc33e

 

I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult to use a spectrum analyzer/meter plugin on the master modules...

 

Um so basically metering IS essential in many fields of music making?
It's just that you'd rather get a 3rd party metering tool than have one built in? Fair enough... I think Maschine should have one built in, that doesn't take up space on an insert..
