Mixing in KEY!

    Hey Guys,

    Just a quick question, whats the master tempo on the S4? I mix in key using 'mixed in key' software, I have made the switch from CDJ's to the S4 and I use the 'master tempo button' on CDJ's...

    Is the 'key' button the same as the 'master tempo' ?

    yeah, if it´s more than 2 bpm than it cut´s the transients and flattens the kick, ableton does a better job

    are you saying that keylock sounds awful to say out loud,

    or are you saying keylock sounds awful when in use inside the software?

    i agree the traktor software sounds not so good when its used to extreme, but being able to mix older slower music with current stuff and it still sounds right is a godsend!

    also if your using mixed in key and going by the supplied music chart, then you shouldnt be using key lock anyway.
