Mixtrack pro tsi Please!

Hi all,

Just got a numark mixtrack pro, and it came with virtual dj. Obviously I want to use it with traktor as I have traktor pro already! Now I know how to map all the buttons thats not the issue, I do not know how to map the jog wheels so I can scratch, could someone kindy either tell me how to map the wheels or post up a tsi for traktor pro.

Any help/info greatly appreciated!

hey FB try googling the file name "10 - Controller - Numark - Mixtrack.tsi" You should be able to find the tsi that way. Let me know if you have any questions.

 

Hi, I tried the above tsi file but can't get it to work.

Unlike finalboss, I need help setting everything up from scratch (I am new to midi controllers).

Can anyone help?

 

i strongly suggest you contact Numark.

it's hard to say, but it may be possible that the controller is configured differently for use with VDJ....if so you'll need to use a controller manager to set the values to correspond with the .tsi file.

it's also possible having no experience with midi that you don't know what you're doing and that mixtrack .tsi is just fine.

Hi - thanks all. Problem was that, although I had updated everything, the older verion of TP was still on my hard drive (and I was using that - so no mixtrack tsi).

My issue is now the same as finalboss1 above. The Mixtrack mapping isn't perfect for Mixtrack pro, so you loose some jog wheel functionality (e.g. slowing down tracks by touching the sides, pausing a track by pressing on it and scratching). All these work when configured for Virtual DJ

Any ideas? Think it needs a new mapping

 

Rattuna - think you need to press the Scratch button on your Mixtrack. With that enabled, it scratches if you move the top of the jog wheel, with it disabled, it bends the ptich. Sadly it doesn't do both at the same time (i.e. scratch when moving the top, bending when moving the side) - I'll have a look if this is easily mapped.
