MK2 & 2.6 mapping issues

I just got the Maschine Mikro MK2 controller and I'm looking to map it in similar fashion I did with my first Maschine, but I'm running into issues. I'm running TRAKTOR 2.6 and with the updated controller manager, several INTERACTION MODES. For instance, I'm setting up cue points through SELECT/SET+STORE HOT CUE, but the only available interaction mode is HOLD. Previously, you could choose DIRECT, TOGGLE, ETC. and when I select DELETE HOTCUE via a MODIFIER to the same button, instead of just deleting the cue point selected, it deletes and jumps the track to that original cue point. Work around?

 

Here is example using modifier #1:

Select/Set+Store hotcue (M1=0)
Delete Hotcue (M1=1)

 

Alright, cool thanks. . . that worked, but new problem. Why is it I exit out Traktor Pro and upon relaunch, Traktor didn't save any of my controller mappings?

 

That's weird... You can export your mapping along with all settings so you can import it again if this issue you are talking about is repeating.

 

how do i do this? cuz more n more frequently (or maybe i'm only starting to really notice it) traktor is not saving my beatgrids, even w the tracks locked and controller mapping adjustments.

 

Use "export" button in the bottom of preferences window. As for beatgrids it could be a mapping issue if one of your mappings got some grid commands assigned, if not, then try importing all in to collection. Manual cover it.

 

i beat grid directly thru the macbook, i haven't assigned any midi command for beat grid ding
