    Hello there!
I'm trying to use my MK2 as Live controller. The main problem is that pads are tuned octave up than I've expected.

Question 1: How can I chance octaves from controller. I've found in Editor a way to do that but I don't' want to open editor every time. How can I switch Pad Pages from controller?

Question 2: I can see on Page 05 - Pads & Device buttons labeled Octave, Scale Base N Key Color. Haw to use those? I'm pushing, but nothing happens.

Question 3: Where can I find Template Documentation for MK2. Because the one that I have has only MK1?

    Great thanks!

I was going to post the same question. i only just saw elwood88 post about being able to trigger the pads in the new template. Some documentation would be great.

Push OCTAVE and twist the master knob, and watch Ableton's status bar down below. Same goes for Scale and Base note. Took me a while to figure it out too.

They should document that template. It's VERY powerful.

Please check your Service Center, there are new updated manuals just released the other day, you will find the Mk2 in there now and this time it doesn't say Mikro on the pages, haha.

I agree. with everyone complaining about how the Ableton Template sucks, there I disagree. What sux is the lack of proper documentation. That being said, I just figured it all out by pushing everything I could and reading the bar on Ableton describing what I pushed. a few weeks later, I love this template, it pretty much covers it all, and I'm able to add extra pages to do the extra functions i like to use in a midi controller.

So for those who are frustrated, just take a breath and load up a session and destroy it by pushing buttons you don't know, you will soon figure it all out that way.

    cheers

NI could definitely do with getting some proper documentation up for the MK2 new Live template... it's a huge improvement on the old one and should be shouted out very loudly to the Maschine community. :)
