Native Instruments Timecode is Copyrighted. Do not upload links to the wavs on the forum.

    Please remove the uploads.

Question : CD timecode MK2 is the same as WAV 0.0.2 ?

No. 0.0.2 was an updated version of MK1 timecode.
MK2 is not available to download.

    What if
I want to upgrade now, from Scratch PRO to Scratch PRO 2 and also get in the MK2 timecode since it is time for me to buy new timecodes (old ones wearing out).
    How can this happen ?

Please contact Sales with this question.

My guess is that as you already own a Scratch product you would only qualify for an upgrade to TSP2 (software download) you would have to buy the timecode package separately.

The MK2 vinyl vouchers are for people who buy the full TSP package.

Contact Sales for the definitive answer.

@TJ, can you answer this one?

    @Santos
I am not asking for a voucher or discount (although it would be nice :) ). I am interested in MK2 and i was willing to buy the timecodes separatly.
On the side note, i guess my Audio8 will handle it rigth ?
    Thanx
    ---
nevermind found it . It seams i can get the software upgraade and get the mk2 s for free !
    Nice NI !
I just hope the audio8 and 4 of mine will handle it

The Older timecode vinyls and CDs are basically useless now because most of us are on 2.1.1..

I'm glad they improved it but most annoyingly.... version 2.1.1 has been out for a while now and the info on the older ones being "incompatible" is just coming out with this announcement of MK2...

On the flipside they could have released the disks first, then gave the update.

That would have made more sense rather than creating a scramble.

My prized neon orange and white ones will be made into coasters now.

Only if you purchased TSP after the 2.1 update. Its been explained many times.

If you already have a Scratch product (bought with MK1 Timecode previous to 2.1.1) then ALL your old timecode no matter what colour, flavour or size will always work with all versions of Traktor before or after 2.1.1.

    Clear?

Excuse me for not mentioning that I've been using the MK1 stuff with 2.1.1 and have had no issues. I understood that using MK2 vs. MK1 timecode products is just best if you consider that it's going to tighter....but the "not compatible with" info that is being slapped on the non-MK2 labeled products will make others think that the MK1 products are basically useless if you strive to use the most current version of timecode so that it gets you closer to a real feeling control.

It doesn't have to be explained to me....I've been using the MK1 stuff on 2.1.1 and only want to upgrade to make sure I'm using the better of the two options. That's why I said the MK1s are basically useless to me.

If NI doesn't realize that they need to explain the difference and may'be remove the "not compatible with" info, they can avoid that which is quickly transforming into a vibe of continual manipulation by misleading information.
