i went apc40 mk2 and ableton and max for live and i keep using maschine stuff it's a rebirth in my music life ...
the Learning curve isn't more difficult than alway think hours to find a work around any little things that i couldn't do in a simple tool use .
i hope i could get push controller later .

But i can say that beside it , what i love in maschine is still there so maschine keep an every day tool ,it just moved from the center

I really don't understand the "Maschine or Ableton" line of thinking haha, neither are particularly similar, both are ridiculously easy to learn and use, there is nothing very complicated about either of them, if you stay one version behind then picking up Live off ebay is actually very very cheap, i can find literally no reason not to use both considering Maschine loads in to live as a VST anyway.

I'm back. Threw Push off a bridge. Set Maschine alight. Have reverted to pots & pans for drums and a kazoo.

Not that I wouldn't like to try Ableton but it is just to expensive and I already have Maschine and Logic Pro X, and I have not mastered either yet. But I agree it doesn't have to be one or the other.
