After 6 years of hiatus, my wife has approved the purchase of equipment to build out a music making space.

I naturally preordered the Maschine instead of getting the mk2.

Guys I am lost. And there’s no manual.

How do I make a song? I get how to make multiple patterns on separate groups and I kinda ge the scenes kinda. BUT how do I just record straight through?
Like am I supposed to just play the scenes? If so how do you play a song from beginning to end?

    They need a manual.

Are there any online resources for complete Maschine noobs?

Software is the same for all Maschines. For the most parts you can use MK2 or Studio manuals if it comes for the hardware.
But I agree it’s a shame that there is no manual on a release day.

Commit yourself at least two days to lease play around with your drum box that's how you get good you just can't figure it out overnight that won't happen and yes in like he said the YouTube videos will help you everyone has their learning curve

Just reak the Mk2 manual or the Studio manual and you’ll be fine.

Take it step by step, so you don't get overwhelmed or frustrated. Try to get familiar with the basic functions first.
The NI Maschine Workflow series will get you through the basics:

And most of all, have fun and enjoy it!

YouTube is your new best friend!! Just search for Maschine Tutorial or even some particular topic and you'll get hits. I recommend you check out MaschineTutorials.com on Youtube:-

Also Andrew Chellman on YouTube (the guy's a genius!):-

Although there's not that much up for mk3 tutorials yet, the mk2 tutorials are close enough to give you all the basics.

    Have fun! :)

Mk3 manual is available now. But the Maschine workflow videos linked above are great and probably more useful than the manual initially if you are totally new to Maschine. Some particulars of the controller may differ, but the basic workflow and a lot of the controls will be the same.
