Hello I am rené (61 years young) and have the Maschine MK3 since a week.
I have a number of questions that I will ask one by one.
The left screen of the MK3 is a lot lighter than the right screen.

How can I calibrate both screens so that they are equal to each other

    Thanks for your attention.

One shouldn't be lighter than the other... Is everything up to date?
If the difference is really big you might have a faulty unit.
    Can you post a picture?

Does slightly pushing down the duller screen with your finger make the screen any brighter? I had that issue with my MK2.

Yes the MK3 is up to date, latest firmware.
The camera battery is empty, is now loading.
Then I will upload a photo.

    Thank you for your attention.

Be careful doing this, the MK3 screen is really really close to the transparent acrylic that covers it unlike the previous models, touch it with a bit more pressure and you can see LCD rainbow blobs like a normal LCD TV which can damage the screen.

I'm not applying much pressure there...

Maybe it can work, not sure, I was just advising to be careful while going about it, personally, i would try it #YOLO.

I thought you were going to post the difference in brightness of both screens? Your finger against the screen is not an issue that effect is normal.

Where did you buy it? If it was in a real physical store and this issue really bothers you then return the unit, that looks like a more serious than usual backlight bleed issue and it should be covered under your warranty. Get in contact with whoever you bought the unit from.
Something is probably slightly out of place inside, you can try tapping it or applying some pressure around the edges it sometimes works but there's a chance it will come back after a while, and like a said before be gentle.

Heres a picture of my screen for comparison

I think you may have taken me wrong here.. I was simply commenting because his first question was regarding the difference in brightness of both screens. No need to loose your stuff here, I totally understood the OPs concern and meant no harm. ;)

The OP wasn't the one who post the picture about touching the screen that was D-One that's why he asked you the question he did.

Have requested a return from the supplier, and he is exchanged for a new one.
    Thank you for the assistance.

    all good :D
No problem, hopefully the exchange doesn't take long. It's so annoying when you get new gear and something delays all the fun.

    Solved.

I just fixed this beside the sensitive issues for my old mk2 where I have since some pad sentive issues are fixed and the right display stays not on with same light.

@Rene you did the right to replace, else it is something which bugs from time to time.

THis is how I fixed it.

When Maschine is on try to push a little between the 2 dispays, to find a sport where both light up well.
Open Maschine this is not complicated, there are Videos which show the screws and more information.
I did a general cleaning down to the real pads which fixed the senitive pad issues.
Put a little bit tape inside the case to the spot where the little ressure was required, this is doing the little pressure.
You are not doing it on the displays, but close to that, I put a small role of tape in the middle of the displays.

I was struggling with this for years, even considered to by a MK3, whilst I feel that the MK2 ios stil good for me.
So I was considering if it is dead after self repair I buy a new MK3, if not I am happy.

So I am happy. To open Maschine is really not a big deal and if the warranty is gone who cares.
if you know how to use Screwdriver and take care it should not break the device, but for sure it is own risk.
