There's a workaround for this atm:
When in step mode on the left lcd you have half vel/ full velocity.
I use the half velocity value and dial in the preferred velocity, one caveat is you have to re- punch in the pad, but it works.

+ 1 for this... as well as the ability to select just a single note from the HW for editing.

You can do it already- however, it's just from the software, and not from the controller.

    It could work like this:

Hold down the step you want to change velocity for, and then change it with a knob. Of course it would be nice to have other parameters as well. Pitch , LFO , FX.

Anything you can do with the mouse should be possible to do with the controller.

HW Single-step editing is a serious omission

Including changing note lengths. It would be nice if you could select one or more than one notes, set the grid (already possible), and change the note lengths with one of the knobs (turn clockwise to extend the selected notes, turn anti-clockwise to shorten the selected notes).

please implement this: holding down the pad of the step you want to edit and turning the volume knob changes the velocity of the choosen step.

    Thanks!

it's a bit confusing that those values (velocity, note,...) wont be displayed when holding down a step like the others.
we should be able to change this from the controller. would definitely speed up my workflow.

    My thoughts Exactly...
also...Maybe you can do a "CUT IN HALF" for velocity...
kinda like the 50% option for the Quantize...
    in step mode...for individual notes...

or even better...let us be able to control the percentage of the velocity compression...
that way...we can just go to step mode (after recording live with no Quantization...)
and SHIFT+PAD will Compress the velocity (only while in VEL COMP is on...)
that way, if I set the VALUE to 10% for example, I can Quickly create a feel...
