I've modified FM4 with breath curve/threshold macros that I made, to use as an exciter signal for prism. Can I post the new FM4(breath exciter edition) to the user library?

This would make it a lot easier to share my new breath macros with other breath players, instead of explaining how to connect them up.

yes you can do this :)

to clarify: you can modify anything that comes with the Reaktor 5 Library and upload that to the Users Library.

but you cannot modify any Ensemble that is a bought addition and post that.

so that would include Mouth, Finger, Spark, Prism and any third party ensembles such as sonictwist ones.

    cuel,
I'm still fiddling, I've got curve and threshold and optional negating x fade on both macros of prism, and crv and th on each of the bipolar sliders, each with a lamp, also crv/thr replacing the exciter env.......... same thing on mods and ops of fm4.

I really want to use the "relative calc" macro from the prism macro controller section, but I can't upload the FM4 mod then.

Also, I can't seem to make FM4 start a note with noise, and develop into a more pure sound.

Is there a way to just use FM8 to send into prism?

From the holiday gift 'Mikro PRISM' you may extract something. By the way the 'Mikro' is the half of a twin to PRISM. Have a look inside the gallery of PRISM. There are a lot of unvisible making knobs and faders in Mikro PRISM.

This is actually an interesting legal question.

Do we formally agree to some kind of "use-distribute-modify" Creative Commons license when uploading to the Reaktor User Library. Or is this just an assumption everyone's been making?

In any case please don't fill up the User Library with junk that is just you messing around a little with someone's synth and getting all excited that you've created a Reaktor ensemble. Another basic synth with cool buttons is not needed.

(I don't mean to include your breath controllers in that if they're actually something useful people will download...)

for me, anything that is uploaded to the User Library can be modified and if those modifications are interesting and take the Ensemble into another dimension, it is nice to share such modifications.

i personally would not do this with a present that given to the Reaktor Community outside of the User Library. personally - because i respect the Reaktor founder so much - i would not share any of my amendments of his freebies with anyone.

i actually think you would be breaking the License Agreement with a UL upload. I just installed and it is quite clear that Mikro Prism should not be modified or re-distributed.
