    I would really like to see a mod processor.

    This could be configured as another tab by OSC/Voices/Routing etc. You could input one or more modulation sources and combine them or process them to create additional sources. These new sources could be 1-8 in a different colour.

    It would stop people running out of mod inputs for the single or dual input sections (vibrato or FX), facilitating more complex movement of these parameters.

    Another benefit would be the ability to SC more complex modulations.

    Functionality could be further improved by functions such as lag processing, or more complex addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.

    I think this could take Massive to the next level, and allow users to create sounds that would usually require resampling. :cool:

    I was just about to ask a question about how to modulate the pitch of an oscillator with both an LFO and an envelope.
    Hard to believe this is not possible but based on what you're asking, it would seem to be the case.

    @dhjdhj

    You may think that the two light blue squares below the pitch settings are added for decorative purposes, but they can do exactly what you asked for ;)

    I knew about the squares and was using the first one. I thought the second one was for something else because it had "SC" written underneath it, I didn't know what it meant.
    (I just looked it up, and I see it means Side Chaining, a concept I understand in principle (ducking?) but I don't understand now what the difference is between the rectangles with and without SC on them, since I can apparently drop modulators on either of them)

    I should absolutely have just tried it though so thanks for pointing it out.

    The two slots react equally as long as you don't activate the side chain modulation, while the side chain modulation enables you to control the modulation depth of the upper slot depending on the direction on the small arrow (- ˄ ˅ )below that slot. What is for instance usefull to control the velocity depth of an envelope separately depending on its destination.

    Thank you --- that's very helpful, I appreciate the explanation.

    There are some mod destinations that only have one input, for example the LFO rate or amp depth, I thought you were referring to these.

    A mod processor or mixer would allow you to have more control or complex modulation of these parameters.

    Another thing I would like to see is the ability to modulate the F1/F2 filter balance and the oscillator phases (in the restart by gate tab).

    The main thing for me is the ability to 'lag' a modulator, the concept works really well in Kontakt, you can make really interesting sounds with just a couple of mod sources.
