Molar Vst / Monome

Anyone got molar vst (with a monome) in maschine 1.6 running?
Any trick to do this?

do you know the basics for monome/molar. i've used both (128/molar) quite a long time, that's why i'm asking - it's not plug&play!

i think a big problem with molar will be that with 1.6 the vsts/aus can't send midi out. but i'll connect my monome to test this combination...

 

Yeah, I am using molar with my monome 128 / monomeserial / pages all the time inside ableton for almost two years now, but thought of trying it in maschine standalone as well, but it doesn´t respond at all. It works well in ableton!
I tried it without using pages also, but had no luck so far.

I mainly wanted to use it with samples/loops, but midi out should work as well, at least if you are on a mac via IAC bus. I tried Thysis from sugar bytes and it works well and it is a midi sequencer.

Let me know if you get it working, maybe some trick, which I can´t think of right now, could solve the problem.

Edit: Molar works well in Kore (I don´t use it though), so it should work in maschine as well.

 

hi rennweg, sorry for the bad news: i also couldn't run molar. a) it's not reacting on midi clock, b) no communication to the 128. but maybe i miss something aswell...?

yes, are you sure? maybe Thysis has it's own midi ports and is independent to the maschine? don't know i haven't manage to send midi jet. as i understood "Mads @ NI" it's not possible, but who knows...

please correct me if i missunderstood this, midi out from plugins would help me a lot aswell.

 

Yes,you are right. Thysis has it´s own midi ports, therefore it works. Sorry, I haven´t thought of that.
I wonder why molar isn´t working. Would be great to have it in Maschine standalone.
