Not sure if this is the correct forum for this or not but I am wondering what would you all recomend for monitors in the 200ish dollar price range for the pair. I use Guitar Rig for practice and normally use headphones but sometimes it woul be nice to hear it in open air. I know... why not just use my amp... Just convientent to play at my computer and my amp(s) are in another room.

Thanks and sorry if this shold be in another forum.

I'm not a professional but I think that monitors are like amps....very subjective but given your budget I'd check out the M-Audio line. I use Studio Pro 4s which I bought about 2-3 yrs ago and I like them. You can get something better nowdays.

    2nd vote from me re M Audio...:D

I have just finished putting together my project studio (GR3 the software of choice) but I wanted a good set of monitors that wouldn't cost the earth - so I went for a pair of BX5a's......Woah....nice deep base and GR3 sounds great through them too...
