Moog Subsequent 37 installed with USB driver and Sub37 Editor
Maschine Mk2, Jam and Kontrol 49
    Windows 10, 64 Bit, Motu 624

So far I have installed the Sub37 editor and this is visible under Sounds / Moog and can be loaded. The editor works with the Moog as expected allowing preset sync and parameter modification via the PC.

I set up MIDI IN and OUT ticking the S37 as an option. I can record note hits from S37 to Maschine and they are visible on screen. However, when I play back the scene, the notes in Maschine do not create sounds on the Moog.

I installed a folder called External Instruments in user / docuemtns / NI / User content. And now USER / All Sounds / Sub 37 Ext is visible, but still no sound from the Moog. And yes, the Moog makes sound when played manually.

    Anyone got any suggestions?

    Oh okay.

I loaded up the S37 Editor, as a standalone, sed Midi Input as Moog Sub 37 IN and Midi Output as Moog Sub 37 OUT

Then I went to SOUND, Output, Midi, Moog Sub 37 OUT as destination on Channel 1.

This seemed to work. Is that right? Any other better way?

I trigger my Moog SP with maschine all the time. I use mixer mode for this: Set midi in to "all" or a specific midi in and set midi out to the Moog. you can play it, hear it, and record the midi. but to save it you must record the AUDIO. this is because whenever you open that track the moog will only get the midi notes the sound will be dictated by whatever setting/preset . its currently on. so in order to preserve a specific sound, you must save it as audio.

    TLDR:
    In mixer mode
-Midi in = whatever controller you want to use
-Midi out = whatever outboard gear you wanna control
Record the AUDIO as a sample

    youre done
