to be able to manually move the slicing point is essential
without no way to catch the sampling freaks ;-)
    We need it !
    thanks

    Desperately Longing For Rex Support

YEP, totally agreed on that one.
The lack of REX file support is one really baaaaad thing.
I hope, that this is going to be included in the next update.
Got a huge REX Library and i want to use them loops in maschine :(

PLEASE NI, do us the favor :)
    ---
Yes, REX file import and manual slices are badly needed!

I would like to be able to set the starting and ending point and the amount of slices myself.

For me it's the most important request, too!

Maschine definitely needs an option to manually slice a sample and to trim a sample, because i don't need the rest of the sample when i have set a start and endpoint.
    Usually you can't slice a natural drumloop with a 16th or 8th or 32th or whatever-option.
Another important thing is timestretching. I don't know why they put out a groovebox without timestretching in the year 2009 !

    Please work on this!

I'm going to +1 this post regardless of the fact that I'm 4 days into owning Maschine and have not been able to get it to work yet!

Can we please have an official NI statement whether this is being considered in an upcoming update this year?

It is essential in my workflow.

    Thank you.

Export the 16 slice to 16 pads and every pad can play in keybord mode pitched!

Along with this, making the knobs on the hardware for changing the start and end points for chops a bit more responsive would be great. It's too choppy now and even holding down shift you can't be super precise (the ability to lock shift so you can play the pad and trim at the same time would be handy too). I had to use the software and my mouse.. :-(

Along with zooming made possible from the maschine, i think snap to zero db would also be helpfull in creating a pop n click free slice or loop, and would help when editing just from the controller.

it depends on the bpm/bar lenght...I just wanted slice in 16 pieces no mather how long the sample is or what bpm it is..just 16 pieces. But it doesnt work like that...for me it takes too long to fix it. I mean..I need to make music...at this moment I only use Logic with my midi keyboard....trying to sell my maschine en rebuy an MPC :(

Maybe if all the slicing and midi isues are solved I am willing to by a maschine again....

if youre using Logic it is much easier to slice your samples up and play them on your midi keyboard, check this link :
