Snap shot export-automation translate to dedicated scene or pattern is a dream and it would be on Maschine 3 b probably but for Maschine 2....can we get just a option to map chords to pads in this version 2.9.2 - 3 would be a new version with new features...but for the end of ver. 2 costume chords to pads would be a big gift for every user and it would make happy everyone, even the angry ones

Knobs on kk a-series still do nothing in track mode. There's no way to control track volume from a controller. Come on, NI, so the controller can manipulate track faders in all the major daws (including reaper which is not oficially supported) except for the Maschine?.. Hope you'll make something with this in the next update

Yeh Cthulhu.... it's far more better when you get some results ,that would be so uniqu, if we got a costume chords, scales butit would be a instant killer.... you can easily make midi mode map with any combination in controller editor, I have some examples when I literally use all combination with minor scale but mix different scales means different music melodies, variations. Try only with Maschine, try to play in one scale than in another, two of the same sound, maybe it will inspire you...At the end it would be best to be able to costume map pads and if you need Cthulhu I don't blame you cos it's all about Music

https://www.instagram.com/p/B8zA0shnOlY/?igshid=1mdtdw3dy8lyv with help of arp i can do a great stuff but if I want a more tonal difference I have to montage two same sounds and if it sounds good I have to do ajustments to all grups...but with costume pads is could just copy group and continue with another elements

With the release of Maschine 2.10 the following requests have been marked as implemented:
    • "Adjustable Pattern start" under the Arrangement section.
    • "Auto-Pattern length - After recording new Pattern".

I'm gonna suggest "Split Group" as well as "Split Pattern".

The latter never allows you to hear 3 patterns simultaneously of say kick, snare and hihat as you can only have one pattern selected at a time. Wouldn't it be better if you could split (explode) a group of say 5 pads to 5 other groups that way they can be mixed and matched? To keep CPU down just move the used pads to an individual group.

The lack of this is driving me absolute bananas. I can't make a simple arrangement of my recorded parts one by one. It's a real workflow killer to have to manually move midi notes around or cut pads onto other groups just because I can finger drum and get plenty of pads populated quickly.

Already requested, and already on the first page of the thread in the list: https://www.native-instruments.com/forum/threads/most-requested-features.318826/

And yes, I want this badly.

You know what irks me to no end? The fact that I see the volume and pan knobs for all channels when I'm in the group overview mode, but as soon as I enter piano roll mode, they all disappear.

NI, please let at least volume knob be visible at all times - I am constantly having to shift between these modes, just to do a tiny tweak.
    It's killing my flow...

Of course, ideally, this would also go hand-in-hand with scaling as a VSTi so that users could fill their screen with Maschine and the loss of screen real estate wouldn't be a big deal for accessibility. We don't live in an ideal world though. :- )

Well, UX is pretty important, and I think this deserves to be included in the list, I can't be the only one that constantly has to switch between these modes just to tweak a knob...

I do it too, would love to see this improved, it's a real friction point in the workflow.

Before any moderator sees the above, it isn't requested. I'm requesting "split group" as well as the already listed "split pattern". In my message above it explains how split pattern (the latter of the two I mentioned) doesn't allow for simultaneous play of separated patterns. Split group would allow multiple groups to open up with just one sound on them taken from the main group. They are then freely mutable and combinable. My take on all of this is that you can do more with groups when arranging than you can with singular patterns. It's like NI basically made the "Group" essentially the new "track". If it's gonna be treated like a singular track then please let us keep the contents of groups as simple as even one kick. Surely people want more in a group like mini arrangements but for those of us used to arranging with mutes and singular sounds, Maschine ain't cutting the mustard at all here, forcing me to just give up great beats I've been that contain scattered but grouped pads that are forced to live together. I know multiple patterns per group is requested but it still doesn't provide the same simplistic and arrangeable control of an entire group.
