I am trying to use the mouse area with a multi picture
module to make an event table type graphic with 32 vertical bars.
I have it working but the mouse area makes it difficult to
set the bars at or near zero. The mouse resolution settings don't make any difference. Also only slow mouse movements in the x axis work or bars are skipped when sweeping across the graphic.

Is there a work around for this. It is odd that the event tables themselves don't seem to suffer from this problem when drawing in them directly.

Is this a mouse/screen resolution problem?

Can you please post a screenshot or part of ensemble, I'd like to take a look? Not sure if I can built it fast from scratch in Reaktor.

    Without Mouse Area

Here is a version using an event table that is more reliable
for drawing but I would still like to be able to use a mouse area
    if possible.

Great stuff thanks. Too bad NI can't make it do this as standard behavior.

Awesome stuff. I am working on an Additive synth so this is perfect.

Two great links on the same day to UL content I have never seen before, why why, ehdyn, I need to check out your contributions more often;)

    cheers,

To be sure - I'm far from a master builder myself. These ens are from Mike Daliot and Gabriel Mulzer.
I just hack bits out of them as needed.

If you like additive synthesis be sure not to miss this one.

    Quite an achievement!

I didn't know I liked additive synthesis, now I do;) Much more than grain resynthesis, that's for sure! I understood you did not create those ensembles, but thank you the same for pointing them out. As for this last one, amazing stuff again, really. I'd love to ask questions about it later, in a proper thread.
    cheers,

Using Multi picture with additive synth

Here is my first experiments with additive synth using
    multi picture enhancements from ehdyn.
There are 32 sine oscillators synced up.
The harmonic table sets the amplitude of each harmonic
The envelope graphs control the 32 envelopes for each oscillator.
Each vertical bar sets the attack, decay, sustain and release
This produces some nice plucked sounds as each harmonic can be contoured individually. It also does away with the need for filters
except maybe the higher resonant aspects of filters.
Another benefit is aliasing can be controlled by reducing upper harmonics. There is an indicator that shows when harmonics are over the aliasing threshold. The max harmonics readout shows what harmonics to switch off.
This is the basis of the Synergy synth from the past.
There are lots more modulation possibilities that could be explored.
It does make some interesting acoustic sounds and is probably best suited for this. Not so good for that 303 emulation I'm afraid.

Some cracked out soldering there on the envelopes!
Thanks for sharing synthlord - K5000S is my favorite synth for late night tweaking.

Disclaimer: The smoothly interpolated tables are a gift from Mr. Daliot.
