Okay I cannot take it anymore, and made this account just to post this. What is going on with the mouse sensitivity in this synth??? I absolutely love the original Massive and still use it to this day, and naturally you'd think that would extend to its successor, but holy **** this is not the case. There are a handful of issues that I'm not even going to address here as I'm able to overlook them for the most part, albeit they still are annoyances. But this "feature" in particular has been the nail in the coffin for this synth. I find it to be absolutely infuriating. Every second of using this synth in like an uphill battle, constantly fighting just to move knobs and sliders and dial in values. It is absolute dogshit, and I have not come across anything like this in any other synth or plugin. So I went looking to see if anyone else is having an issue with the sensitivity and sure enough there are people posting that they can't even use this synth without it causing actual pain from the amount of wrist/hand movement required. What's even worse is that those posts are closing in on TWO YEARS, and this has still not been addressed. Like cool, you wanna try something different in your synth? Awesome. But is it too much to ask to at least have the OPTION for normal mouse movement, you know like the standard across literally every other plugin??? Especially when this isn't even a real feature or something interesting, it's just annoying. I just don't understand. Is this not an issue for anyone else?

Ha I guess it really depends... Logitech MX Master 2S mouse here, knobs respond really nicely and fast over here, I get no wrist fatigue at all... That's not to say it might not be problematic for somebody else, but I cannot really say it's bad for me, per se.

I mean I feel like I get what they were going for. Like it's supposed to be dynamic? If I jerk the **** out of my mouse the knobs/sliders move closer to how they would in other plugins, but any sort of fine movement and it's hardly any movement at all. It's like if you were driving a car and gently pressing the gas and your car is just barely lurching down the road, or trying to give it some juice and then you're getting pulled over for reckless driving. Like there is no in between. I'm perfectly fine with holding command, or control, or whatever else if I really need to dial in super fine/exact positions. This **** is just wonky.

Yeah there is a bit of accelleration on the knobs. By the way, right mouse drag is the fine control mode, Shift and Ctrl don't do anything in MX.

You're not alone voidclips. I had to give up MX just because of this issue. I tried many times to get used to it. The first an only plugin were I have this problem.

It seems there are not many reports like ours, but I read some others too when MX was released in the open beta forum. I remember one guy who suffered from a carpal tunnel syndrome and explained in this open beta forum why the behavior in MX caused problems for him. I still struggle to understand how you can be satisfied as a product developer/UX designer when some people have this understandable and severe accessibility problem that is easy to fix.

This is one example why my trust is pretty much gone these days with NI. I sincerely hope we will see better times again with them.
