Mp3 song analyze glitch?

    I deal with alot of mp3s ripped from Old LPs from between the 1950-80s and aside from a tiny bit of fuzz on very few of them, the songs sound amazing. As soon as I analyze some of the tracks in traktor, the file is modified and contains portions of the song that are warped or have jumps. Ive confirmed that the songs play well on a few other media players BEFORE the analyze and then have the noted defects on those same media players AFTER the analyze. At times, I re rip the same song, and retry to analyze the song and perfect song, no glitches. Any idea what causes this? Is there a way to turn this off and NOT have traktor modify the original file? Thanks

    i seriously doubt traktor is the problem here as it does not modify the audio in any way

    yup. traktor does not alter the files (other than writing tags). the problem must be somewhere else.
