MP3 support unvailable in ver 1.2.1.1

    To Guitar Rig users:

    It has just been confirmed by NI that the latest update broke MP3 support within the tapedeck features. You will need to convert your MP3 file to aiff or wav in the meantime in order to play it.

    This is tedious but hopefully NI will put a new update real soon.

    Well, that answers my question on the other thread. I don't have any of the issues that this update does fix, so I'll wait. Why install an update that breaks something?

    NI did not say how long it would take but I personally was very dissapointed over such an oversight. It makes NI's QA look awful.

    On the plus side they did respond very quickly when I notified them of this.

    As I said you can convert your song to an aiff format and use that as a workaround until the fix is out.
