    imo:
if everything about producing is new to you dont buy any of them.

    try out the reloop Keypad.

it is a no brainer for the price and you can learn a lot with this little beast.

    I don't know because i don't own it.

But if I had no idea of production then I would not buy a controller for ca 600-1000 € .

I would generally attempt to learn about music production .

Nowadays so many think it is quite easy to make good music with the right tools .

This is total bullshit , sorry .
Unfortunately, nowadays there are plenty of worse music than before this trend .

It does not matter what great Kontroler one uses . The creativity and good ideas do not come from these devices .

What's chopping samples like on the reloop? Because I'm assuming that would be a big part of the OP's needs.

If the dude has the money, has already looked into it, has started learning djing as a precursor to production, and is doing a course with ableton live as the main tool, I think he or she is entirely capable of deciding for themselves what a reasonable amount to spend is...

Yes, everything about producing is new to me.

But, I will have to buy Ableton Live software anyways... because its not included in the purchase like the Push 2.
It will end up costing nearly the same.

Reloop KeyPad here in Argentina ---- 250 USD + 450 USD (Ableton Live Standard) = 700 USD

Ableton Push 2 here in Argentina ---- 1.035 USD (and the guy who is selling it, gives you the Ableton Live Suite included with the purchase).

So, with a 300 bucks difference... I get a better product and Ableton Live Suite. I don't think theres much of a difference in price that it justifies buying the Reloop Keypad over the Ableton Push 2 with Live Suite included.

    Correct me if i'm wrong...

    Thanks for the help guys

    I'm wondering the same...

Someone owns Reloop products here?, so we can listen his/her opinion about quality?. It doesn't give me a lot of confidence the price point, I mean... with that amount of money it can be done a quality product?

Yeah, that's one of the top priorities... considering i'm a newbie at the moment.

For me, it's a MUST having a piece of Hardware to start learning... I don't imagine making music with mouse clicks and only working with Ableton Live. I don't know if its a thing of my ideas or what, but I feel that I will not be totally comfortable and I will have some kind of lack of control, maybe?.

What do you guys think?, and what was your experience as a newbie and how you began making music?

    Thanks.
