You made a ridiculous statement about the future of music and now I have a selective understanding? Ok...Nostradamus...I will defer to your wisdom.

You ask me about the MPC and I gave you a detailed explanation. You didn't ask me about changing, tweaking, or whatever...

Regardless, everything you are trying to accomplish is possible in these current MPCs.

Yeah me too. I was the guy with the giant diamond chariot hoisted by 4 Victoria Secrets models.

The bling kinda washed out the lcd on the X though.

There is no guarantee that there will be batteries for the MPC Live 30 years from now. We don't even know what kind of batteries it uses now, my guess is Li-On since it's t most common but who knows. The LCD screen would give out way before that 30 year mark, because the backlight would have given out by then. Can you replace the flash memory on the device? Flash has only so many writes before it gives out. In 30 years it would cost you more than the device is worth to replace the parts in it.

I'm just saying that your 30 year prediction is bullshit. There are a lot of components on the device that would probably need to be replaced even going on 10 years, if not the 8 year mark if it's used daily. The battery being the least of the components that would need replacing.

"...Jazzy Jeff, Warren G, and Just Blaze..."

..i reckon all of them were like
version 1: "damn...i knew it...i'll throw away all of my multi thousand dollar ad/da converters and use the x as the centerpiece of my studio..."
version 2: "yeah, this is dope...gonna be the centerpiece of my studio...i tell you what: it's fun to pay those extra $$$ for those converters and ins and outs and what because i can..."

I'll stop you really get there. The MPC-X doesn't use batteries. And the MPC Live works with or without a battery.

Forat and MPC Stuff have parts for and repair MPCs created 30 years ago. So my assessment of the future sounds more logical than your assessment.

would you guys do me a huge favor, could you please leave your **** talking to me and skins, I'd much prefer if you'd let people like Jah, and agent Mr.36 have as cordial of a discussion as humanly possible as we really need to be able to get information from Jah, and later on after the mpc comes out we'll need Mr. 36 to reveal all of the best work-arounds.... Let me and skins handle the bullshit. Thank you.

thanks for the clarification on resampling jah, this is very intriguing. This is probably my most used feature in maschine and I don't mind using another method if the looper/sync/method is less or equally as complicated as maschine's current method, otherwise gonna have to lobby for that feature... it's very important to have the option of being able to play and tweak while the resampling is going on.

Very true if u watch the videos out there with them making beats there using fl with just a laptop.. letting the software do the work.. that why alot of underground producers who make real technical beats use the mpc and studio as well as other hardware..
