Which specific parameters would you like to tweak during resampling?

The Looper is pretty straight forward:
    1. Set to Resample

    2. Set # of bars / ensure sync is enabled

    3. Set Looper to Record Ready / start Sequencer playback

    During Sequence playback tweak away.

So true. It's like golfers I know that keep changing brand of clubs thinking they will play better.

this is not strictly true; u can make technical beats all in the software if need be, so having hardware is not a pre-requisite for that, I think that is a common misconception along with the notion of letting the software do all the work.

Your logic/reasoning is flawed from the outset because you are assuming that hardware being made now is made like older hardware which is not true at all. Hardware made now is made more disposable with less replaceable parts than hardware made 30, 20, hell even ten years ago. You are pretty much assed out if the flash on the Studio/Live gives out because that is part of the SoC package and mostly soldered on, unless you think that the RockChip SoC will still be around 30 years from now (highly doubt that) if your MPC dies, you are pretty much done at that point.

The same with screen technology. The fact is that there are a handful of screen manufacturers who do capacitive LCD screens, they have a lot of demand. Manufacturers will only do limited runs of these screens in general over several years as they move on to newer technology. Unless you think someone will keep a stock of 30 year old screens (at considerable price if they bought it now) then again I highly doubt we'll see these in 30 years.

So imo you are either being hyperbolic at worst or highly naive/optimistic at best.

And in 3-4 years, the MPC XYZ will be out with its plugin hosting and 9 audio tracks running MPC 3.19 in standalone mode, making the MPC X just another legacy toy.

No more flawed than your logic. Touch screens are not going anywhere. It's been about 20 years since the Korg Triton was released. They are still around...and repair centers available to replace the screens. I highly doubt you have a clue to what you are talking about.

Only to those that spend more time in the forums spewing nonsense than making music.

Actually, only to those who neeeeeed to have the latest and (allegedly) greatest gear all the time, though that does seem to correlate with spewing nonsense on forums and not making music... ;)

Again, though, you miss the point (as well as take everything too seriously). When the next device comes out, it's likely that the current device will just become the "old" device. It doesn't mean it won't work any more, but it will, in a sense, be obsolete. That's just the way all this tech tends to go. Hence noting the ridiculousness of your 30 year comment that started all this BS. :)

Old mpcs take too long to use. Floppy disks. Zip drives. Have to record into recorder. Have to sync it. Too long. Yeah some producers and engineers still work on 2inch tape and mix analog. But the majority have embraced the all in the box work flow. Time is valuable. Give me the future workflow faster so I can go home sooner.

    More nonsense....And back tracking.

    I have wasted enough time.

If anyone has any additional questions about the new MPCs...feel free to hit my up here or via private message.

I will be doing some tutorials to walk you through features as well to include Resampling which we talked about earlier.

Never enough for you, is it?

Probably. Don't blame them. Use what you like/love/know/need. Just like there's plenty that MASCHINE can't do (but arguably should be able to) and I'll work around them till I die, you know there's a bucket full of things you can do with MASCHINE that you can't do with "proper MIDI sequencers" (it's just mostly not MIDI-related :p).

golfers. And tennis players. Keep buying new clubs and tennis rackets and they still can't play. Lol. I'm talking about adult recreational players at my golf/tennis club.
