    Hi there, it's been awhile...
I'm back on reaktor, and I've got some difficulties creating a step sequencer using graphical interface : multi display and mouse area. I've looked for explanations here and there a lot these last days, but it's not always easy to get detailed information sometime.
First I couldn't understand how to create the display part so I stole it from someone on the forum on a thread explaining these matters (thanks dude).
So I now got how this muti display + mouse area works together, I need now the information to be sent to a sequencer...

I've attached pics of my example.

I used a distributor first and it did the job, i.e. changing a bar on the graphical area send the Y value to the corresponding step in the sequencer, but everytime I select a new step on the graphical interface, a 0 value is sent from the current output port on the distributor (as it closes), causing a reset of the value sent to the seq as soon as I press a new bar (column).

Then reading the manual I saw that the router module which does the same job than a distributor holds the last value at the different out ports! So now it works fine, I got my super simple seq running and modulating both the VCA and FM modulation of my super simple synth (just a tester) but...

    My questions are :

Router seems to be "old" module for retro compatibility, but I couldn't figure out how to do the same with a distributor (which do not hold last value). How to do?

Also, Is there a better way than mine to get a custom graphical step seq? I've seen in many ensembles people using event tables to make the seq, but I don't see how it works with the recording stuff... :s

I'm still quite a noob so it took me 2 full days to get this poor ensemble running, and I don't feel like I master it...
Any help/tips further explanation is welcome.
    thx! :)
