    hmm, for the multidisplay: make sure you set the proper index first, afterwards this should work fine. are you using a BMP or just drawing lines/squares?

    It seems you cannot make pictures transparent. They either are fully visible or invisible - the transparency can only be set for object types <0 meaning all except pictures: turn on 'info' and read the description of the A input.

    Can you make .BMPs transparent anyway?

    @tymes2
    thanks for the info!
    But this is annoyed.

    @Cayenne
    A BMP file cannot be the reason!
    Every program with a transparency-graphic-feature convert any graphic file internal for this function.
    An example is FLASH!

    We're not talking about alpha channels here, so I guess you could make them transparent.

    You probably mean cayenne... however, this would require certain graphic capabilities that Reaktor simply does not have. Reaktor is not Flash or Photoshop... although I have no idea how hard it would be to implement that. What are you trying to do anyway?

    I want to fade the transparancy of a picture in dependence of any event signal over my background picture.
    Thats all.

    I meant a more detailed description - it was already clear that you were trying to 'fade' a picture... what effect are you trying to achieve?

    why?
    I need just a transparancy fading of a picture for some functions like audio level meter or whatever...
    This is only for the graphic design of my reaktor project.
    Thats all.
    What more details???

    You could do that with multipictures, which would require an animation made in another app. You could as well do that with a Multi Display, where you use the basic picture as Background Bitmap and add the level display via Object (-1) = bar graph which gets animated via the x2 parameter.
    edit: That solution is rather dull, as the animation is not really fluent. Another possibility would be an XY module.

    Yes I know, but without transparany control.
    Thats the problem.
    Also I can set a picture in a standard level meter of reaktor for this effect.
    BUT is NOT transparency!
