    Right,
I do not know whether this is a feasible and can be achieved without a complete re-design of TP/TSP.

I have been playing around with Belvario`s Smart Mixer and Moldover`s Reaktor Ensembles in Ableton Live, and I really like the whole concept of it.

Here`s a quick outline of what I`m talking about.

Ideally there should be one stereo MB compressor for every deck, but I guess 2 will do for now...:D

Thank you for looking into this.

So basically you don't have to eq.

This is when things starts to get silly.

I am afraid EQ`ing is not the same.

The Sidechain suppression makes the tracks gel better.

I am actually working on a new sidechain compression setup for ableton live - if you wanna beta test it hit me up :) The Belvario smartmixer is absolutely terrible, it causes all sorts of worboling and phasing issues that makes it sound like utter crap.

I certainly agree though that a smart compression setup inside Traktor would be pretty pimp :)

Smart compression does Eq changes far faster and better than human hands can possible do - so Lance is right, its not just making things easier, it makes tracks gel together alot better.

i have found is absolutely madness for drum and bass double drops and especially if you are performing controllerism techniques this gets your hands off the eq's alot more and frees your hands up to do far more interesting techniques.

I am really surprised that this concept has not received a broader recognition.
