How do add additional instruments to Kore when it is being used as a plug-in versus a performance? Thanks, CS.

You can't load multiple KORE sounds, but you can load all the instruments you want. Right or Cmd click in the mixer view and choose add source channel.

I right-click, add a source channel, double click a new sound and Kore overwrites the initial sound.
For example, I want to add several synths to Kore but it is not happening. Thanks, CS.

As I said in my earlier post, you can only have one KORE sound per instance.

Only trying to understand. I can load a sound via search called 'Agent Running'. It has two instances of Reaktor and an instane of Pro-53. Can I create a sound like that? And, if yes, how?
Also, this sound when loaded into Cubase SX with Kore as a plug-in uses about 70% of my CPU according to the SX Performance Meter. Whenever I load this sound within Kore stand-alone, my CPU resource usage is approximately 30%. Is this normal and/or is this one of the problems being addressed by NI?
My configuration: Pentium 3.2 Ghz, 2 Gb Ram, fast grachics card and a lot of hard disk space.

Thank you for helping me to better understand the Kore + Komplete III environment. CS.

Yes, you can. Go to the sound view and choose add source channel. Have as many source channels as instruments you want to use. Then, load your plugins into the source channels. NI plugins will have pre-configured easy pages for the most part- the exceptions are Kontakt, Battery, Elektrik Piano and any non-factory Reaktor ensembles. Some third party plugins have EA pages too- most just have eight pages with the first 128 parameters mapped.

Yeah, that's the kind of driver issue that's being addressed. Some helpful hints- disable hyperthreading in your BIOS and turn off power management to the USB hubs.

    Have fun :)

For some reason, adding source channels within the plug-in and loading an additional sound does not work. The existing sound is overlayed with the newly selected sound. I have turned off the power management for the USB channels. I will do whatever is necessary to disable Hyper-threading in hopes of having better performance and more fun. Thanks, CS.

Once again, you can only have one KORE sound active in any instance. Load the plugin and load the patch you want from the plugin's GUI or the dropdown list in the source channel. DO NOT load another KORE sound.

Thanks, I finally understand. I needed to get over my preception as to what I had thought Kore would do. Working in non-plug-in mode and using perfomances is what I was attempting to do within SX.
I have turned off Hyper-threading and will continue to play with the sounds and the unit. Again, thanks, CS.

Using Kore as a VST PlugIn...

    Hey guys,

as the Kore Manual doesn't help me much to get into Kore, I'm posting this thread regarding using Kore as a VST Instrument in Nuendo.

I don't understand how to use different sounds in Kore (PlugIn Version). When I want to load a second sound it automatically replaces the first one.

Can someone tell me how to use it correctly?

How can I trigger with several midi-tracks different sounds in one Kore PlugIn?

    Thanks in advance!

    Kai

    Welcome :)

No, you can't have multiple KORE sounds in the same plugin instance. Yoiu can have all the INSTRUMENTS you want, but you can't have multiple KORE sounds.
