Does Battery support multiple outs in Logic or not? I'm getting conflicting information from various sources.

I'm running Logic Audio 5.3 on a Mac and Battery doesn't appear in the list of multiple out instruments.

If anyone has got multiple outs in Logic to work please tell me how...

If it flat doesn't work, when are NI going to provide us with an update? It says on the box that multiple outs are supported on VST2 compatible hosts. Seems that this isn't so....

I am not on a Mac, but I did get Battery to work as a Multi out instrument in Logic 5.3. The first thing to check is which version of Battery you are using. On the PC, only version 1.0 will do multiple out in Logic. If you only have a later version, then you might be out of luck until NI releases the next version of Battery. I wouldn't hold my breath though. They seem to be real slow about fixing problems. I reported some a year ago and still don't have a fix. Anyway, here's what I did to get it going. Uninstall all versions of Battery and load in 1.0. Open 1.0 as standalone. Configure it for multiple outs. Save the kit you are using. Open Logic and remove any instances of Battery. It seems to remember what was last loaded and won't come up as multi until you get rid of all previous instances. Then you should be able to select Battery as a multi out in Logic. That works on a PC, but I have no idea if it's any use to you on a Mac.
