    I don't know if it is "Clouds" but this setup sounds pretty cool:

    Granmaster is by Colugo.
    Rounds Delay adds some extra graininess.
    The mixer lets you blend each effect and the dry signal to customize the sound.
    Add a couple Rounds LFOs for modulation too.

    There are some grain effect in the Nouveau collection that might be useful for this.

    ...thanks for the suggestion. I downloaded it and I already found quite a number of useful modules, that I was actually looking for.

    However, regarding Granmaster, I tried Tape Nouveau and Maestro, as they seemed to be the most promising Blocks. but it's not quite what I'm looking for in this area. I really like the old Grainstates ensemble and for what I use it, Granmaster seems to be a more comfortable and better sounding alternative for it (not to mention, that I can combine it better with other Blocks). But I suppose, there is no easy way to get Granmaster accept midi notes to transpose the sample, correct?
